Day 73

Day 73, Judkins Household is sick

Scott came home from work a few days ago and was sneezing really bad, he thought he was sick but I said it was probably allergies. Today Judah woke up not feeling well. The first picture is of him waking up with his bottom lip sticking out. Its so sad yet so cute, the 2nd one is Judah wanting to be held for his mid day nap, he wasn't feeling well, the last picture is of him sleeping. Then tonight both Judah and myself have a low grade fever. Praying we get well soon.

Day 72

Day 72, Human Pillow

Today I felt like a human pillow. Judah didn't want to be put down, he didn't even like his swing (which he normally loves) but he was fist beating the air so I picked him up. Placed him in his sling and he fell asleep while I walked around. When I tried to take him out he just wanted to lay on me. The sling is great, he is going in the Ergo tomorrow though, its much better on my back. He has started to put his entire fist into his mouth to suck on it, prefers that instead of his binky. He is not hungry, just likes to chew on his entire fist. The first picture is right before his evening bath I love his little booty, the 2nd I just love that shirt and he looks so cute, 3rd he is giving the camera the eye "Dont put me to bed" and the 4th Judah is passed out in the sling.

Day 71

Day 71, Curious George

I love to read to Judah, and he actually pays attention unless he is really tired. But during the day I try to read to him at least once. Yesterday I noticed while I was reading to him a Curious George Book that Judah kinda looks like Curious George. So I took a picture today to compare. The bottom picture is Judah holding his Sophie and listening to me read to him. Melts my heart this little man.

Day 70

Day 70, Bonjour mon petit

I totally forgot to post this yesterday! Judah woke up super early yesterday talking and talked through out the day. (Baby talk that is). The bottom picture is Judah watching me work out to Jillians 30 day shred, he thinks its funny when I do my pushups and say Peek a boo at him.

Day 69

Day 69, Sunday

Judah tasting a carrot, it felt good on his gums. Goodnight Gorilla, one of the many books I was able to get at a thrift store this weekend for Judah. Mama and Judah time, he was smiling at his daddy....and Judah finally gets to wear his "Auntie Rocks" t-shirt his Aunt Rhonda gave to him in December and I agree she does Rock!

Day 68

Day 68, Chillin

I think Judah is so used to me dressing him up for Photo shoots the ties don't bother him at all. Today we did a really quick one for my Step moms birthday that is coming up, Judahs Nana Dyan. Can't show you the pictures till her actual birthday (April 1st).

Day 67

Day 67, The Mall

Today Judah and I had a lunch mall date with Heidi and D. We ended up bumping into a bunch of other moms and babies that we knew. It was great! But I think the mall excitement was to much for Judah. He hasn't been sleeping very well this afternoon/evening....I can still hear him trying to talk in the other room and he is way past his bedtime.

Day 66

Day 66, New Tooth

Day 65

Day 65, Rat Tail!

One of the first things I noticed about my son when he was born was his Rat Tail, its been growing even longer since his birth. Judah has been sucking on his hands and drooling for a few weeks now. We have to be careful when we lift him up over our heads and smile because he might just try to drool in our mouth.

Day 64

Day 64, Happy Birthday Grandma Judkins!

Today is Judahs grandma's birthday, so Saturday we did a photoshoot of him with a sign. Here are a few shots from that day. I took the first one and printed it out and put it into a nice frame that my husband dropped off this morning. I love the last picture, Judah was pretty worn out after the Photoshoot....ahh the life of a baby whose mother loves taking picture of.

Day 63

Day 63, Short Day

I feel like I have had a shortened day with Judah today, he spent some time with my best friend Heidi and her son D. Although 3 hours into them hanging out Heidi told me Judah was still sleeping! He has been sleeping on and off all day long and even wanted to go to sleep a little earlier today. Maybe he is growing? Good thing the cute outfit (first pic) I got on sale at Old Navy is 3-6 months. He is getting long! It says "Big Trouble Little Shirt" with a dinosaur on it. The last picture is from last night. I was rocking him to sleep and he just kept looking at me with those eyes until he just drifted to sleep. This little guy has my heart for sure.

Day 62

Day 62, Judah goes on errands

The first picture is Judah and his Sophie the Giraffe from this morning.

Second Picture, I had to take one of Judah in his swing (he loves his swing) but his head is to big for the infant head rest now. I remember when his head couldn't even reach it.

Third Picture, we ran some errands today and bumped into some ROCK peeps

Fourth Picture, Judah his pants undone because his belly is getting so big drinking a bottle and watching George Mason lose.

Day 61

Day 61, Lazy Saturday

Today we wanted to go to DC but I decided against it because Judah has been sneezing allot, I think he might have my allergies.

So we went to this huge kids clothing/toys/book sale near Burke. Didn't get the Storm Trooper mask but did get a Darth Vader one and the costume for $3! Also was able to get a ton of books and Scott wanted to get Judah the bouncy seat thing/it hangs from your door frame and Judah can bounce in it (this is for when he is a little bit older). Spent some time outside, we are so blessed to have a park area right in our backyard. We think Judah is super close to laughing out loud, we think we almost have it!

Day 60

Day 60, Burke Lake Park

Today was so beautiful and I was dying to get out of the house, so on a whim I decided to take Judah on a walk at Burke Lake park. I've never been on my own so I wanted to see if they really had walking trails for strollers before I went with Judy Kinas. Well they kinda did. I met a bunch of moms (I just walked up to ladies with strollers and introduced myself) and actually found two really nice moms and walked around the Lake with them. They told me about this skate place in Manassas where I can take Judah and stroll him around while I skate! How fun is that! When we got home I took Judah to our backyard playground and he loved it! Couldn't stop smiling and talking to his giraffe. Just waiting for him to laugh out loud.

Day 59

Day 59, Baby Love

Last summer I found one of my students was pregnant the same time I was, we were actually due about two days apart. I ended up having Judah 3 weeks early and she had Autumn about a week late. Today they met for the first time. Amber is a great mom and you can totally tell, not only does her daughter love her but Judah fell in love with not only Autumn but Amber as well. I think they are going to grow up to become great friends.
